Stamp and Scrapbooking Show!

All my goodies from the show!

Here in London I have only one stamp/scrapbook shop, (Blade Rubber Stamps) and it's quite expensive, nevertheless it's a lovely little place. Personally I don't like to shop on line. Most of the time I don't have a choice and if I really want something I do order few things on line occasionally.

The good news is that we have once a year a huge stamp/scrapbook show in London, were I get most of my stuff from.

Alexandra  Palace (venue)

I just went to the show this year (24th September 2011) it was lots of fun and I found a few bargains.

The venue is located in a very beautiful area it feels we are not in London.

I appreciat your visit today.
Warm hugs,

Lovely day out with my son

It's the schools half term in London at the moment and what to do with a 12 years old boy?

Well! We both love going to the British Museum, lots to see in there, I think we went there for the 4th or 6th time together, the place is huge and each time we go there we visit different areas. This time we went to see the Chinese,Japanese and Korean ceramics, very beautiful.

After we stopped by the stamp shop (Blade Rubber Stamps) just next door to the museum, he gave me just 20 minuets to look around, because he knows I can loose my self in there for hours, I was a good girl this time and I just bought few stamps and  went out in 20 minuets sharp.

The highlight of a day out for him is always a meal in a restaurant, (he loves eating out) we did go to a lovely little Brazilian restaurant after the Museum,we loved the food in there and had a good laugh about our favourite food we loved eating in Brazil (armadillo) last year.

Here are some picks of our very tiring but a lovely day out.

My first post, Hooray!!!

Hi everyone welcome,

I created this blog mainly to share my crafty creations and adventures. But I may share other things non craft related here that brings me happiness too. I also want to keep in touch with my Blogger friends around the world and have fun too.

I started doing scrap booking and card making back in 2008 and I  love it. My love for stamps goes back into my childhood in primary school when my teacher would give a stamped image as a reward. I remember being very happy and proud of my self when she gave 1 or 2 stamped images in my homework book. Happy memories.

I still love stamps today. I love using stamps to create my cards. Scrap booking and card making is a addiction of mine among other crafts I love doing, you will know more about them in the near future, subjects for other posts.

Below you can see some of my layouts and cards:

I coloured the image on the cards using prisma colour pencils.

My son is my biggest scrap booking inspiration / motivation. I love  preserving all the wonderful memories about him

I think that is all for now, wish me luck with my blog. I hope I will be able to keep up with regular posts, but if I'm not just bare with me,I will be back eventually I promise, as I am a newbie blogger, also I must say that I'm not at all a high tech kind of person, somehow I always manage to click on the wrong key, but "here I am signed sealed delivered I'm yours" (love this song). I appreciate your visit today, thanks.

Warm Hugs
